12-Month Rental of a Hi-Rail Excavator, Sorting Grapple, and Hydraulic Magnet

The Department of the Army is seeking a one-year rental of a compatible hi-rail excavator and attachments for McAlester Army Ammunition Plant. - Government buyer: Department of the Army, Army Contracting Command – Rock Island; equipment is for McAlester Army Ammunition Plant. The contracting contact named is Regina L. Gibson. - Requested equipment: one BTE-326 Hi-Rail Excavator or equal, one BTE Sorting-Grapple with CB linkage or equal, and one 32-inch BTE Hydraulic Magnet in chain configuration or equal. Each item is rented for 12 months. - Key specifications: The excavator must support on-rail and off-rail operation, deliver 202 horsepower and reach 25 mph on track, and include a Rototilt PG80 or equivalent tilt rotator. The grapple and magnet must be compatible with the excavator and its hydraulic systems; the magnet must be cab-controlled and collect and release ferrous railroad materials. - OEMs named: BTE and Rototilt. Equal equipment proposals must identify the manufacturer and model and include technical literature and a compatibility statement. - Requirements: Equipment must function as a compatible system. The rental includes routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance, repairs, labor, parts, and fluids at no extra cost. Quotes must include delivery and pickup fees; delivery is to McAlester Army Ammunition Plant in Oklahoma.

FOB Destination - McAlester Army Ammunition Plant, McAlester, OK. Closing on 11/16/2026 at 12:00 pm Central Standard time. Salient Characteristics  MUST BE MET and submitted with Detail and MUST BE SUBMITTED with quote to be considered. All contractors who provide goods/services to the DOD must have a current active registration at System for Award Management (SAM) - https://www.sam.gov Quotes are to be sent on SIGNED AND FILLED IN SOLICITATION, with any needed certification or specifications verified to regina.l.gibson7.civ@army.mil. Questions or any needed additional information must be submitted no later than 72 hours prior to solicitation close date/time and should be e­mailed directly to regina.l.gibson7.civ@army.mil.  DO NOT FAX.
