Maintenance and Service for Two Naval Air Station Patuxent River DI Water Systems

The U.S. Navy is seeking maintenance for two deionized-water systems supporting materials engineering at Naval Air Station Patuxent River. - Government buyer: U.S. Navy, Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD), Patuxent River; point of contact: Janae Lester. - Vendor: American Plant Maintenance, LLC is identified as the intended sole-source supplier in the initial notice. Solicitation Information

All quotes/responses shall be submitted via email to JaNae Lester at janae.a.lester.civ@us.navy.mil no later than Monday, October 26, 2026 @ 4:00PM EST.  

Solicitation N0042127Q1016 is issued as an intent to sole source.  The Government intends to purchase on a firm fixed-price basis, and to solicit and negotiate the proposed purchase order on a sole source basis with American Plant Maintenance, LLC, under the authority implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) by FAR Part 13.106-1(b).   

This procurement is a total set-aside for small business under the authority of FAR Part 52.219-6. 

This is a firm fixed-price procurement; therefore, the offeror’s intial offer should represent the vendor’s best quote in terms of price and technical acceptability. 

Basis for Award

The Government intends to award this on a sole source basis.  All interested parties MUST submit their capabilities and a quote no later than Monday, October 26, 2026 @ 4:00 PM EST.  The Government will make a decision to consider other offers.
