Fermilab F-37 Building Low Conductivity Water Piping System Fabrication and Installation

The U.S. Department of Energy’s Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory (Fermilab) seeks proposals for the Building F37 Low Conductivity Water (LCW) piping system, including fabrication, installation, and specified components. - Government buyer: U.S. Department of Energy; Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory (Fermilab). - Scope: Fabricate and install the LCW piping system in the PIP-II F-37 Building Pump Room, following drawing F10170043-SH25. - OEMs named: Parker, Garlock, Bonney Forge, Ashcroft, and Noshok. McMaster-Carr is also identified as a source for certain components. - Components include stainless-steel pipe and fittings, valves, pressure instruments, a filter, gasket, sight glass, tubing, and related hardware. The drawing lists quantities and, for some items, part numbers. - Notable specifications include 304/304L or 316 stainless steel, a 20-micron filter cartridge, and pressure instruments rated for ranges up to 200 psig. - No performance period or specific completion duration is provided. The notice also gives site-access and pre-proposal visit requirements, including PPE and advance access approval.

This scope of work includes fabricating and installing a Low Conductivity Water (LCW) Piping System in the F-37 Pump Room.

To attend the Pre-Proposal Meeting and Site Visit, PPE is required.

As Fermilab is a federal facility, to access the Fermilab site, offerors MUST complete an Access Request form AT LEAST SEVEN (7) DAYS IN ADVANCE OF THE MEETING. AS THIS IS A SECURED DOE SITE, FNAL IS UNABLE TO PROCESS ACCESS REQUESTS THAT ARE NOT RECEIVED 7 DAYS PRIOR TO THE PRE-SOLICITATION CONFERENCE.  Additionally, to obtain on-site access approval, attendees must be a U.S. Citizen and have a REAL ID.
