The Town of Stratford is seeking a consultant to review and update its 2018 Diversity and Inclusion Plan for Council adoption. - Government buyer: Town of Stratford, Community & Business Engagement Manager. - Requested service: Review and update the existing plan, including recommendations to improve its content, clarity, and layout, and ensure it addresses all aspects of diversity and inclusion. - Engagement and research: Facilitate committee brainstorming and citizen and stakeholder engagement; activities may include focus groups and public outreach using Town social media and survey tools. Conduct jurisdictional scans of best practices and similar projects. - Deliverables: An updated plan and a report recommending strategies and actions for Council consideration. Council adoption is requested during the current fiscal year. - OEMs and vendors: No OEMs, products, or outside vendors are named. - Proposal evaluation: Responsiveness (40%), qualifications and experience (30%), schedule (10%), and fee (20%).

Description

The Town of Stratford is seeking proposals from qualified consultants to review and update its 2018 Diversity & Inclusion Plan. The work includes recommendations to improve the plan’s content, clarity, and layout; citizen and stakeholder engagement; and scans of jurisdictions for best practices and similar projects. The selected consultant will deliver a final plan for Council adoption, with strategies and actions informed by engagement activities. Proposals are due October 23, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. local time.
