The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking multi-year elevator and dumbwaiter inspection services for its Oklahoma City VA Medical Center. - Government buyer - Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office 19 (NCO 19) - Service location: Oklahoma City VA Medical Center (OKC VAMC), Oklahoma City, Oklahoma - Buyer contact named in the attachment: Mark Holland - OEMs and vendors - No elevator manufacturers, OEMs, resellers, or service vendors are named in the materials. - Requested services and line items - Elevator testing and inspection services, covering multiple elevators and dumbwaiters at the Main Facility, Clinic Addition, Building 19, and Parking Garage #1. - Pricing schedule: five annual service line items, each quantity 1 year: CLIN 0001 (base year), 1001, 2001, 3001, and 4001 (option years). - Scope includes semiannual routine inspections and tests, annual periodic inspections and tests, and five-year periodic inspections and tests during the applicable five-year cycle. - Notable requirements - Inspectors must be qualified, including ASME QEI-1 credentials, and conduct applicable elevator inspections in accordance with ASME A17.1-2013 or current standards. - Remove parts where needed to assess equipment condition and clean equipment as needed for inspection and testing. - Provide service reports documenting tests, findings, and recommendations to the Contracting Officer’s Representative within one week after each service. - The opportunity is set aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSBs). For services, no more than 50% of the government-paid amount may be paid to firms that are not certified SDVOSBs or VOSBs, subject to stated exclusions. - Performance period - One base year plus four one-year option periods; the total contract term may not exceed five years. A further extension of up to six months is described.
