The USDA Forest Service, Marienville Ranger District, is soliciting bids for Phase 1 of the Loleta Recreation Area Water System Improvements in Marienville, PA. - Government Buyer: - USDA Forest Service, Allegheny National Forest, Marienville Ranger District - Project Scope: - Construction and upgrades to water supply facilities at Loleta Recreation Area - Installation of new water distribution piping (HDPE and PVC), spigots, valves, drains, and valve boxes - Construction of a new well house with concrete slab and structural framing - Electrical service modifications including panel, meter installation, and wiring - Removal and reinstallation of existing well pump - Site work: selective demolition, removal of septic system/buildings, backfill, curb/sidewalk/concrete/asphalt removal, and site restoration - Installation of 305-gallon NSF61 HDPE water tanks for chlorine contact time - Commissioning, pump yield testing, pressure testing, chlorination, and water quality testing - Products/Services Requested: - 1" and 2" HDPE water lines, 4" SCH 80 PVC water lines, valve boxes with aluminum hatches, water spigot assemblies, concrete pads, electrical panels, and HDPE water tanks - Lump sum construction services for water system improvements - Removal and delivery tasks (septic system, buildings, rubble, asphalt pulverization) - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Compliance with state and federal standards for water system construction - Detailed quality control, submittal procedures, and site restoration/turf establishment - Coordination with local electric utility for meter installation - Bid guarantee of 20% required - Contractor access limited to upper campground loop from late September to mid-December for site work - No specific OEMs or branded products are named; all materials must meet technical specifications and standards.

Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12.  This announcement constitutes the only solicitation.  Quotations are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. 

Solicitation number 12445526Q0132 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for the installation of new water distribution piping, spigots, valves, concrete work, well house, modification of existing electrical service, selective demolition and other project supplemental items.   

This acquisition  is set-aside for small business concerns.  The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard Code is 237110  The small business size standard is $45M  This acquisition is a Total Small Business Set-Aside.  All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the agency.
