Description
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) awarded Contract No. 75D30126P21489 to the Texas Department of State Health Services for the Pregnancy Mortality Surveillance System – Texas. The contract was awarded on a sole-source basis pursuant to RFO FAR 6.103-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements.
The requirement is for the identification and provision of Texas vital records necessary to support CDC's Pregnancy Mortality Surveillance System. The Texas Department of State Health Services is the sole legal custodian and authoritative source of the required Texas vital records. Market research confirmed that the required records are maintained exclusively by the State of Texas and are not available from other sources in the required format.
