Alaska DOC statewide ammunition and less-lethal equipment supply

The Alaska Department of Corrections is seeking suppliers for statewide, as-needed ammunition and less-lethal equipment. - Buyer: Alaska Department of Corrections, Division of Administrative Services. - Scope: Two lots—Lot 1 ammunition and Lot 2 less-lethal equipment, launchers, projectiles, and related supplies. Purchases are as needed; listed annual quantities are estimates, not guaranteed orders. - OEMs named: Hornady, Speer, Federal, Winchester, Sabre/Sabre Red, Combined Tactical Systems (CTS), Golden Eagle, PepperBall, and TAC SA PRO. - Notable requirements: Lot 1 ammunition and all CTS items are brand-specific. Approved equivalents or substitutes may be proposed for selected Lot 2 items, subject to State approval. Bidders must price every item in any lot they bid on; awards are intended by lot. - Lot 1 estimates: .223 Remington ammunition (185 cases across Hornady, Speer, and Federal loads); .308 Winchester (15 cases); 9mm (95 cases across Speer and Winchester); .40 S&W (45 cases); and 12-gauge ammunition (24 cases). Federal part numbers include AE223, 12236, GM223M, AE40K1, P40HST1, LE127RS, and LE13200. - Lot 2 estimates: Sabre/Sabre Red sprays and foggers; CTS OC products, 40mm launchers, munitions and reload equipment; PepperBall and TAC SA PRO launchers, projectiles and vest expansion kits; and a Golden Eagle fogger. Description

The Alaska Department of Corrections is soliciting bids to establish a multi-year contract for ammunition and less-lethal equipment for its facilities statewide, on an as-needed basis. The bid schedule contains two lots: ammunition and less-lethal equipment, with awards intended by lot to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. Estimated quantities are for evaluation purposes only and are not guaranteed. Delivery costs are included in unit prices unless otherwise stated.
