Miami-Dade County Hybrid Workshop on Contract Compliance Programs

Miami-Dade County is offering a hybrid workshop to help businesses understand county contract compliance requirements. - Purpose: Training for firms new to these requirements or seeking a refresher; this is an informational event, not a procurement solicitation. - Topics covered: Small Business Enterprise – Construction Program (§10-33.02); Responsible Wages and Benefits Program (§2-11.16); Community Workforce Program (§2-1701); Residents First Training and Employment Program (§2-11.17); and Employ Miami-Dade Program (§2-10.4). - Format and location: Two-hour session available in person at a Miami-Dade County location in Miami and online through Microsoft Teams. - Registration: RSVP is required; additional event information is provided after registration. - Products, services, and vendors: No products, services, OEMs, or vendors are identified.

Description

This hybrid workshop trains firms on complying with Miami-Dade County Code requirements related to the Small Business Enterprise Programs. It is intended for companies new to the requirements or seeking a refresher on contract-code compliance. Topics include the Small Business Enterprise – Construction Program, Responsible Wages and Benefits Program, Community Workforce Program, Residents First Training and Employment Program, and Employ Miami-Dade Program. RSVP is required by August 9, 2027; the training is scheduled for August 12, 2027.
