The City of Camarillo is seeking a construction management advisor for its City Hall renovation and expansion project. - Buyer: City of Camarillo, Administrative Services Department. - Requested service: Construction management-as-advisor support for an approximately 30,750-square-foot occupied public building renovation, delivered using Design-Bid-Build. The preliminary base construction budget is approximately $25 million, with three additive alternates. - Scope: Preconstruction and design review, estimating, scheduling, constructability and bid support; optional onsite construction management; and closeout, move-in, commissioning, quality, and warranty support. The advisor acts for the City, does not hold the construction contract or perform construction, and does not guarantee construction cost. - Notable requirements: Strong in-house estimating, scheduling, and onsite management capabilities; experience with occupied public-building renovations and full decants; and temporary-facility planning. Construction-phase and closeout services are separately priced and optional at the City's discretion. - Related solicitation: An attachment also describes separate architectural and engineering design services for the project. The solicitations are separate; firms may not propose for both or serve as a design-team subconsultant while proposing for construction management. - Project estimate details: The reference estimate includes a temporary facility, 174 workstations, building-system and interior work, and alternates for outdoor gathering space, a public foyer addition, and site and landscape improvements. It names Stone Creek Engineering in the estimate file name; its precise role is not stated. - Products and OEMs: No OEMs or product part numbers are identified. The estimate lists construction materials, equipment, furnishings, and systems; quantities are captured below. - Performance: The agreement continues through completion of services. Construction management closeout and warranty support include a 12-month warranty period; the closeout/move-in and warranty phase is estimated at approximately 14 months.
