LaSalle County Board is seeking a replacement Fortinet firewall pair for its existing FortiGate 100F high-availability deployment. - Government buyer: LaSalle County Board, LaSalle County, Illinois; LaSalle County Board Office (Room 245). - OEM: Fortinet is the specified manufacturer; substitute brands will not be accepted. - Base purchase: Two FortiGate 400G appliances (FG-400G) and two three-year FortiGate 400G Enterprise Protection subscriptions (FC-10-FG4H0-809-0236). - The appliances are intended to operate as an HA pair and include 25GE, 10GE, and 1GE SFP ports, 5GBASE-T and HA/management RJ45 ports, NP7 and CP10 acceleration, and dual AC power supplies. - Protection includes IPS, AI-based inline malware prevention, DLP, application control, advanced malware protection, URL/DNS/video filtering, anti-spam, attack surface security, converter service, and FortiCare Premium. - Separately priced options: Two FortiGate 401G appliances (FG-401G) with two three-year Enterprise Protection subscriptions (FC-10-FG4H1-809-0236); and two three-year FortiGuard OT Security Service subscriptions (FC-10-FG4H0-159-02-36 for 400G or FC-10-FG4H1-159-02-36 for 401G). The 401G adds 960 GB onboard SSD storage for local logging and reporting. - Optional services: Migrate the existing FortiGate 100F HA configuration, including staging, firmware alignment, HA setup, cutover support, and as-built documentation. Bidders must state service hours, on-site or remote delivery, and an hourly rate for additional work. - Notable requirement: Compatibility with the County’s existing Fortinet environment, configuration, management tools, and staff training is a consideration in selecting the lowest responsible bidder.
