Plainsburg Union Elementary School District is seeking network equipment to strengthen connectivity at Plainsburg Elementary. - Government buyer: Plainsburg Union Elementary School District (PUESD), District Superintendent office, serving Plainsburg Elementary. - OEMs: Cisco Systems for switches and software/licenses; American Power Conversion (APC) for UPS/battery backup. Approved functional equivalents may be considered. - Detailed equipment and licenses: - 1 Cisco Catalyst 9300L switch, part number C9300L-48UXG4X-EDU, and 1 five-year Cisco DNA Essentials license, C9300-DNA-E-48-5Y. - 2 Cisco Catalyst 9200L switches, C9200L-48PXG2Y-EDU, and 2 five-year Cisco DNA Advantage licenses, C9200L-DNA-A-48-5Y. - 2 APC Smart-UPS 1000VA lithium-ion rackmount units, SMTL1000RM2UCNC. - 1 APC Smart-UPS 2200VA lithium-ion rackmount unit, SMTL2K2RM2UCLNC. - Additional Form 470 entries: Approximate entries also list switches and necessary software/licenses at quantities 1 and 2, switches at quantities 1 and 2, and UPS/battery backup with software/licenses at quantities 2 and 1. These are separate from the RFP’s detailed Appendix 3 list and should not be assumed to increase the detailed quantities. - Services and requirements: Basic maintenance of internal connections for switches is listed, with Form 470 entries of 1 and 2. Applicable Cisco 8x5xNBD support should be quoted separately if not otherwise specified. Installation and configuration are not required. Equipment must be new and obtained through an authorized reseller; refurbished and grey-market products are not accepted. Substitutions require district approval. - The RFP provides for two one-year month-to-month service extension options; the maintenance performance scope is not otherwise specified.

Description

Plainsburg Union Elementary School District is requesting bids for E-Rate Year 2027 network equipment, including UPS/battery backup, switches, software, licenses, and related components to support broadband connectivity and augment existing network infrastructure. Equipment installation and configuration are not required. Proposed equipment must be new and supplied by an authorized reseller; refurbished or grey-market equipment will not be accepted. Bids are due in a sealed envelope by January 5, 2027, at 2:00 PM Pacific, and the district reserves the right to award all network equipment to one vendor.
