NOAA is seeking seasonal snow removal and ice-control services for its Green Bay Weather Forecast Office. - Government buyer: U.S. Department of Commerce, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Weather Service (NWS), Western Acquisitions Division; service location is the Green Bay Weather Forecast Office. - OEMs and vendors: No OEMs, contractors, or other commercial vendors are named. - Requested services: Snow plowing, parking-lot de-icing, sidewalk snow removal and ice melt, and drifting/touch-up work. Services cover parking lots, entrance drives, access roads, turnarounds, sidewalks, building entrances, and shed entries. - Per season, estimated plowing pushes by snowfall depth: 8 at 1–1.9 inches; 6 at 2–3.9 inches; 3 at 4–5.9 inches; 2 at 6–7.9 inches; 1 at 8–9.9 inches; and 1 at 10–12 inches. - Other estimated seasonal quantities: 15 parking-lot de-icing applications, 25 50-pound bags of sidewalk ice melt, 32 sidewalk snow-removal labor hours, and 6 truck hours for drifting/touch-up. - The same estimated service quantities apply to the base year and each of four option years. CLINs are 0001, 1001, 2001, 3001, and 4001. - Notable requirements: Provide labor, equipment, materials, and supervision; maintain 24/7 availability and prompt response; preserve safe access to operational facilities; and use concrete-safe deicers on sidewalks. Seasonal work is mainly expected during winter months, with shoulder-season work dependent on weather or request. - Required deliverables: Hazardous-material Safety Data Sheets for materials such as ice melt; compliance certifications and applicable licenses or permits; certificate of insurance; training completion evidence for sexual assault and harassment prevention; a snow removal plan with equipment, personnel, 24-hour contacts, and response procedures; service logs recording visit times, weather, snow depth, work performed, materials used, and issues; and biobased-product purchasing reports. - Duration: One base year plus four 12-month option years, for up to five years total. This is a seasonal services requirement, not an annual product subscription.
