W074 ENDIST MOBILE is seeking a contractor to maintain-dredge the Pensacola Harbor Navigation Channel. - Government buyer: W074 ENDIST MOBILE, through the KO Contracting Division in Mobile. - Requested service: Maintenance dredging of the navigation channel using hydraulic cutterhead pipeline dredges, trailing suction hopper dredges, and/or mechanical dredges with scows. - Equipment and operations: Dredging equipment must reach 30 feet and be supported by crews, management staff, tugs, and suitable floating plant and other equipment. - Material and placement: Sandy material typical of the Pensacola Entrance Channel is to be placed west of the channel along Perdido Key Beach. - OEMs, vendors, quantities, and part numbers: None specified. Description

This requirement is for hydraulic cutterhead pipeline dredges, trailing suction hopper dredges, and/or mechanical dredges with scows. Dredges must be capable of dredging to a depth of 30 feet and be complete with crew, management staff and support equipment including tugs and various other floating plants as would normally be expected to support a large dredging operation. The material type expected for this requirement will be maintenance material typical for Pensacola Entrance Channel composed of sand. Material dredged will be placed west of the Pensacola Entrance Channel along Perdido Key Beach.
