MICC Fort Drum is seeking bearings and mechanical power-transmission components for McAlester Army Ammunition Plant. - Government buyer: W6QM MICC-FT Drum, through the Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) Fort Drum contracting office; delivery location is McAlester Army Ammunition Plant, McAlester, Oklahoma. - Named OEMs: Kaydon Bearings, QA1 Precision, Rotor Clip, Diamond Chain, and OPW. - Requested products: - 6 Kaydon Bearings thin-section bearings, part number JG180XP0. - 3 QA1 Precision right-hand female rod ends, reference CFR8T / CTFD-8. - 3 QA1 Precision rod ends, reference CMR8T / CTMD-8. - 6 Rotor Clip retaining rings, part number SE-98. - 600 feet of Diamond Chain single-strand roller chain, part number DMD-60-1R, supplied in six continuous 100-foot rolls with one compatible master link per roll. - 6 OPW stainless-steel swivel joints, part number 3750-0151, with 1-1/2-inch NPT connections and required installation components. - Notable requirements: Products must be new, unused, and free of defects. Proposed equivalents must include manufacturer technical literature and a compliance crosswalk demonstrating that they meet the stated characteristics. Description

Salient CharacteristicsRequired Product Characteristics, brand-name-or-equal as follows:The contractor shall furnish new, unused, commercially available steel mill products meeting the material specification/grade, product form, nominal dimensions, length, and quantity stated for each Contract Line-Item Number (CLIN).Furnished products shall be free from material defects that would affect their intended use. Used, reclaimed, repaired, remnant, or substitute-grade material is not acceptable.Dimensions are nominal. Unless a tighter tolerance is expressly stated in the CLIN, material shall conform to the standard commercial tolerances applicable to its governing material specification and product form.The offeror shall identify, by CLIN, the offered manufacturer or mill/distributor; material specification and grade; product form; nominal dimensions; and any exception to this purchase description. Any exception shall be clearly identified in the quotation.Substitution of a different material grade, product form, or smaller nominal dimension is not permitted without prior written authorization by the Contracting Officer.Documentation: The contractor shall provide a certificate of conformance identifying the material specification and grade for each CLIN. Each offered bearing shall be new, current production, unused, and free from defects.Offerors proposing an equal product shall submit manufacturer datasheets and a completed compliance crosswalk demonstrating compliance with each salient characteristic.CLIN 0002 - Right-hand female rod endReference item: QA1 Precision CFR8T, described as [right hand Teflon female rod end,] same as CTFD-8Quantity: 3 each. Furnish three (3) self-lubricating female rod ends, right-hand thread, brand name or equal to QA1 Precision CFR8T / CTFD-8 reference configuration. Each unit shall be new and unused.Female rod-end configuration with right-hand threaded shank.Self-lubricating PTFE/Teflon-lined spherical bearing surface, or equivalent self-lubricating liner approved by the requiring activity.CLIN 0003 - Rod endReference item: QA1 Precision CMR8T, described as [rod end,] same as CTMD-8.Quantity: 3 each. Furnish three (3) rod ends, brand name or equal to QA1 Precision CMR8T / CTMD-8 reference configuration. Each unit shall be new and unused.CLIN 0004 - Retaining ringReference item: Rotor Clip SE-98, described as [STZD RET RING].Quantity: 6 each. Furnish six (6) standardized retaining rings, brand name or equal to Rotor Clip SE-98 reference configuration. Each retaining ring shall be new and unused.CLIN 0005 - Roller chainReference item: Diamond Chain DMD-60-1R, 100-foot roll including master link.Quantity: 600 feet. Furnish six hundred (600) feet of single-strand roller chain, supplied in 100-foot rolls, with one compatible master/connecting link included with each roll; brand name or equal to Diamond Chain DMD-60-1R reference configuration. Chain shall be new, unused, and suitable for the Government¿¿¿s identified equipment/application.Single-strand roller-chain configuration.Nominal chain series/size: No. 60 or Government-approved equivalent dimensional series.Master/connecting link shall match the offered chain series and shall not reduce the stated load rating.Supplied lengths shall be continuous 100-foot rolls; no substituted partial lengths unless specifically authorized by the CO.CLIN 0006 - Stainless-steel swivel jointReference item: OPW 3750-0151, described as [1-1/2 inch NPT, SS swivel joint.]Quantity: 6 each. Furnish six (6) stainless-steel swivel joints, brand name or equal to OPW 3750-0151 reference configuration. Each swivel joint shall be new, unused, and complete with all components required for installation.Nominal connection size: 1-1/2 inch NPT.Product identification and technical compliance. Offerors shall identify the manufacturer, manufacturer part number, country of origin when required by the solicitation, and place of manufacture when required. For an offered equal product, the offeror shall provide manufacturer technical literature and a completed compliance crosswalk addressing each salient characteristic.Government review. Failure to provide sufficient information to establish compliance with all salient characteristics may render the quotation ineligible for award.Condition. Supplies shall be new, current production, and free from defects; used, refurbished, remanufactured, surplus, gray-market, or counterfeit items are not acceptable unless expressly authorized in writing by the solicitation.Inspection and acceptance. The Government will inspect supplies for quantity, condition, identity, documentation, and conformance with the solicitation¿¿¿s stated characteristics. The Government¿¿¿s acceptance is not waived by a vendor¿¿¿s commercial terms or disclaimers.
