Gwinnett County is seeking qualified transportation consultants for on-call support of SPLOST and other capital programs. - Buyer: Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners, through the Department of Transportation (GCDOT); the Purchasing Division is identified as the procurement office. - Scope: Five service categories cover pedestrian/bikeway and drainage design; road and intersection design; cost-to-cure; surveying; and traffic engineering and ITS/ATMS design. - Vendors and OEMs: No consulting vendors or product manufacturers are named. The Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) is referenced for consultant prequalification, not as a vendor or OEM. - Commercial structure: On-call work is assigned as needed, with no minimum workload guaranteed. The County intends to select at least three firms per category, but does not guarantee that number. Proposals and fee schedules are requested separately for each category, with hourly rates by staff role for Years 1–5. - Key requirements: Applicable GDOT prequalification is required for each proposed category. Work calls for Georgia-licensed responsible professionals, responsive project management, quality assurance/quality control, and electronic design deliverables. Category E fieldwork anticipates approximately 125–150 vehicle miles per week; the County sets the mileage reimbursement rate. - Products and quantities: No products, part numbers, or fixed service quantities are specified.
