The U.S. Coast Guard is seeking 50 DeAngelo Marine exhaust fastener kits for vessel exhaust systems. - Buyer: U.S. Coast Guard (USCG), Surface Forces Logistics Center (SFLC). - OEM: DeAngelo Marine Exhaust Corp. The notice identifies the kit as a sole-source item. - Product: 50 Exhaust Fastener Kits, manufacturer part number A10-091501, for HiPress RO pumps and 7.5 HP motors in MDE exhaust systems on 154 WPC vessels. - Each kit contains 10 hex head cap screws (3/8-16 x 2.25 in., P/N 050-122201), 10 hex nuts (3/8-16, P/N 051-122202), 20 flat washers (3/8 in., P/N 052-122203), and 10 lock nuts (3/8 in., P/N 052-122204). - Requirements: Kits must be individually packaged, cushioned, boxed, marked, and bar-coded to the specified standards. Noncompliant items may be rejected. - Delivery: Requested as soon as possible to the USCG SFLC receiving location in Baltimore, Maryland.

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the FAR Overhaul Part 12 and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Offers are being requested, and a separate written solicitation will not be issued.

This acquisition is set-aside for small business concerns. This item is considered to be a Sole Source item.

The U.S. Coast Guard, Surface Forces Logistics Center (SFLC) intends to award a Firm Fixed Price Purchase Order. No down payments or advanced payments will be made to the awarded vendor.

Award will be made on a Best Value Basis as result of this synopsis/solicitation.  All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which if timely received, shall be considered by this agency.  Best Value will be evaluated by who meets all technical requirements, who meets our required time frame and by price.

FAILURE TO MEET THE PACKING, PACKAGING, MARKING AND BAR-CODING REQUIREMENTS WILL RESULT IN WAREHOUSE REJECTION AND ITEMS WILL BE SHIPPED BACK TO VENDOR. MARKING IAW MIL-STD-129R EXCEPT BAR CODED IAW ISO/IEC-16388-2007, CODE 39 SYMBOLOGY.
