The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ Fort Worth District is offering ponderosa pine timber for sale and removal at Camp Navajo, Arizona. - Buyer: U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Fort Worth District. - Timber offered: Item 1 includes an estimated 2,026 CCF of ponderosa pine sawtimber and 2,236 CCF of ponderosa pine non-sawtimber, totaling 4,262 CCF across approximately 980 acres. - Work included: Mechanical thinning, harvesting and removal of merchantable timber, fuels reduction, slash treatment, land rehabilitation, and road maintenance across eleven units. The contractor provides labor, equipment, supervision, supplies, and incidentals. - Key requirements: Harvest only unmarked trees; protect marked leave trees and designated avoidance areas. Submit an operational, traffic-control, and fire-suppression plan within 14 days after award, and meet applicable safety and security training requirements. - OEMs and vendors: No OEMs, manufacturers, or commercial vendors are named.
