ESC Region 13 seeks educator preparation program improvement and support services

ESC Region 13 is seeking qualified providers to help Texas educator preparation programs and school systems improve educator preparation and workforce partnerships. - Government buyer: Education Service Center (ESC) Region 13, Educator Preparation Improvement & Innovation Center (EPIIC), Contracts & Procurement; contact: Vicki J. Cagle, RTSBA, CTCD. - OEMs and vendors: No OEMs or specific service vendors are named; this is a provider-services solicitation. - Requested services: - Educator preparation program support, including continuous improvement and alignment with Texas educator-preparation priorities. - Curriculum, instruction, and learning design, including coursework in literacy, mathematics, and other priority areas; learning-science applications; and high-quality instructional materials (HQIM) implementation. - Practice-based preparation and clinical experiences, including instructional rehearsal, clinical integration, mentorship, and field-supervisor support. - Professional learning and capacity building for teacher educators, faculty, instructional leaders, school and district leaders, and EPP leaders. - Technical assistance for partnerships and workforce models, including training-of-trainers, staffing and scheduling approaches, PREP implementation, and Grow Your Own programs. - Quality assurance and systems-level support, including expert reviews, communities of practice, continuous improvement, approval reviews, and support addressing review outcomes. - Notable requirements: Providers should describe their qualifications, experience, service approach, and supporting evidence, and submit numeric professional-services rates for each proposed category. Description

Education Service Center (ESC) Region 13, through the Educator Preparation Improvement & Innovation Center (EPIIC), is soliciting proposals from qualified providers to support Educator Preparation Programs and school systems across Texas. The work will support continuous improvement efforts to strengthen educator preparation and improve outcomes for Texas teachers and students. ESC Region 13 intends to establish a qualified provider list of providers capable of strengthening EPP coursework and training aligned to Texas priorities for educator preparation.
