The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency finalized an administrative reformatting of California State Implementation Plan materials, not a procurement opportunity. - Government buyer / issuing agency: U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Region IX, San Francisco. - Other entities mentioned: State of California and California Air Resources Board (CARB), in connection with the state plan; neither is identified as a vendor. - Action: Reorganizes the identification and presentation of previously approved California State Implementation Plan materials covering rules in six California air districts, including how materials are made available for public inspection. - Procurement items and vendors: No products, services, quantities, part numbers, OEMs, vendors, or prospective contractors are identified.
Description
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency is revising the format of California materials incorporated by reference into the California State Implementation Plan (SIP). The affected regulations and materials were previously submitted by California and approved by EPA. The change primarily concerns the “Identification of plan—in part” sections and the format of SIP materials available for public inspection. It applies to rules in six California air districts and is the fifth and final action in a series intended to revise the format of the entire California SIP.
