MAWSS is seeking a contractor to maintain grounds at properties across 12 service zones. - Government buyer: Mobile Area Water and Sewer System (MAWSS), for the Board of Water and Sewer Commissioners of the City of Mobile; Purchasing Department. Work includes mowing, edging, hedge and shrub trimming, flower-bed weeding, specified seasonal Crepe Myrtle trimming, and removal and hauling of clippings and other debris. - Quantity and schedule: 12 zones; annual cut schedules vary by location, generally 20 cuts, with 5 cuts listed for Canal. Work orders require completion records and photos. - Notable requirements: Some sites require weekday work after 5 p.m. or weekend work. Description

MAWSS is requesting bids for mowing and grounds maintenance services for Zones 1–12. Bids will be awarded by total unit cost per zone, and the contract period is February 1, 2027 through January 31, 2028, with two possible one-year extension options. A mandatory pre-bid meeting is scheduled for November 18, 2026, at 8:30 a.m. at the MAWSS Operations Center Board Room. Bids are due by December 3, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. Central Time.
