Description
The Coast Guard is changing the operating schedule for the Puget Sound and Pacific railroad bridge across the Wishkah River at mile 0.1 in Aberdeen, Washington. The bridge draw will remain in the closed-to-navigation position, and vessels must request openings at least 24 hours in advance by telephone or VHF radio channel 13. When the draw is opened or closed, the drawtender must sound one prolonged blast followed by one short blast. The rule also states that a bridge operator will no longer be required to be on site.
