The Saskatchewan Research Council is seeking Ohaus balances for continuous weighing of corrosive liquids at its Rare Earth Elements Commercial Division in Saskatoon. - Government buyer: Saskatchewan Research Council (SRC), Rare Earth Elements Commercial Division. - OEM: Ohaus; SRC software is programmed for the specified Ohaus models and will not work with other brands or models. - Products requested: - 4 Ohaus Defender 5000 TD52P balances, 25 kg capacity, 1 g readability. - 5 Ohaus Ranger 7000 R71MD60 balances, 60 kg capacity, 1 g readability. - 1 Ohaus Defender 5000 TD52P balance, 125 kg capacity, 5 g readability. - Notable requirements: Equipment is intended for continuous measurement of corrosive liquids, potentially operating 24 hours a day for months. Units require stainless steel weighing platforms, specified displays and computer interfaces, and must meet the stated operating conditions and power requirements. Balances must be NTEP certified and Measurement Canada approved, with CSA certification or compatibility with Canadian standards; they are not legal for trade until inspected. - Deliverables and delivery: Calibration certificates, manuals, validation procedures, and mounting specifications are required.
