Irving ISD seeks 10 Hobart conveyor dishwashers with turnkey installation

Irving Independent School District is seeking 10 commercial conveyor dishwashers with turnkey replacement and installation at district campuses. - Government buyer: Irving Independent School District (Irving ISD), Purchasing office; contact: Jennifer Bryan. - OEMs and named vendors: Hobart is the specified dishwasher manufacturer; InSinkErator is named for disposer packages. Both are offered as “or equal” where stated. - Dishwashers: 10 Hobart CL44-BAS+BUILDUP conveyor dishwashers, one each for Nimitz, MacArthur, Brown, Townley, Stipes, Hanes, Brandenburg, J Haley, Davis, and Townsell campuses. Key requirements include single-tank operation, 202 racks per hour, internal 18 kW boosters, 15 kW tank heat, and two adjustable vent hoods per unit. Electrical compatibility must be verified at each site. - Included accessories and site-specific work: Each location requires an InSinkErator SS-200-5-CC101 disposer package or equal, plus specified tables/counters, controls, and utility connections. Some campuses require different water-use specifications, enclosure panels, controls, counters, or relocation to a new kitchen location. - Turnkey services: Deliver, inspect, install, connect, and start up each dishwasher; remove and dispose of existing equipment and packaging; make required utility modifications; verify dimensions, electrical service, and ventilation; and train staff. Provide one-year dishwasher parts, labor, and travel-time warranty during normal working hours, and one-year parts and labor warranty for disposer packages. - Schedule and site requirements: Substantial completion is required by the solicitation deadline. Electrical and ventilation conditions must be verified at each site; the District will coordinate access and scheduling.

Description

Irving Independent School District is seeking proposals for the purchase and turnkey installation of dishwashers at various campus locations. A mandatory pre-bid meeting and site visits are scheduled at Elliott Admin Annex, with visits to each campus afterward. Electronic submissions are strongly requested; paper bids are accepted, but emailed and faxed bids are not, and late or incomplete bids will not be accepted. The response deadline is December 15, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. CT.
