The Forests and Related Resources program area seeks to address the health, heterogeneity, and productivity of the Nation’s forests while creating rural economic opportunities. It supports development of technologies and approaches to increase forest-land productivity and improve forest management and longevity. It also seeks development of value-added materials derived from forest resources.
