Pennsylvania is seeking statewide borehole geophysical logging and imaging services for its Bureau of Geological Survey. - Government buyer: Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR), Bureau of Geological Survey, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. - Scope: Perform selected slim-tool digital logging and imaging at new and existing cased or uncased boreholes, including exploratory core holes, water wells, and gas wells, to characterize rock and fluid properties. - Logging services: Natural and spectral gamma ray; high-resolution dual-detector density; guard, long- and short-normal resistivity; single-point resistance; spontaneous potential; dual induction; full-waveform sonic; three-arm caliper; optical and acoustic televiewer imaging; fluid temperature and conductivity; heat-pulse and spinner flowmeter logging. - Capacity and equipment requirements: Work statewide, including remote and off-road sites, and log boreholes up to 1,500 feet deep. Sondes must be no more than 2 inches in diameter, except for the spinner flowmeter impeller cage. Contractor must provide a four-wheel-drive vehicle with a gross vehicle weight rating of 10,000 pounds or less and a truck-mounted winch with at least four-conductor cable long enough for 1,500-foot boreholes. - Imaging and deliverables: Optical televiewer scans must be no more than 0.9 mm apart, with at least 1,440-pixel circular resolution and 24-bit RGB color. Provide standard and computed logs, requested imaging interpretations and reports, and paper and electronic copies, including applicable TIFF, JPEG, PDF, WCL, and LAS formats. - Pricing structure: Quote mobilization/demobilization, intermediate movement between sites, each logging service per linear foot, daily equipment service, and hourly site restoration. Work quantities are estimates and will be ordered as needed; award is based on the lowest total sum. - OEMs and vendors: No OEMs, branded products, part numbers, or contractor vendors are named in the opportunity. - Contract term: One initial year, with up to four additional annual renewals; renewal price increases may be negotiated up to 3% per year.
