DLA Maritime – Puget Sound is seeking quotes for 2,000 Streamlight hazardous-location flashlights. - Government buyer: Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), DLA Maritime, Puget Sound Contracting Division (DLA-PME); buyer contact: Deborah Beierle. - OEM: Streamlight is the named manufacturer. - Requested product: 2,000 Streamlight 2AAA ProPolymer HAZ-LO flashlights, part number 080926-66505. - Ultra-compact design; 60 lumens, 5.4 inches long, 1.9 ounces, and six-hour battery life. - Hazard-rated for specified Class I, II, and III environments and Class I, Zone 0, IIC. - Delivery and acceptance: One-time supply delivery, FOB destination to Puget Sound Naval Shipyard in Bremerton, Washington. Destination inspection and acceptance apply. - Notable requirements: Items and containers must be marked to MIL-STD-129, and traceability documentation is required. Quotes must identify the manufacturer and country of origin and provide lead-time or delivery information. The notice states that COTS items are exempt from the NIST SP 800-171 requirement; applicable assessment requirements apply to other items.

ELECTRONIC SUBMISSION OF QUOTES IS AVAILABLE THROUGH THE SAM WEBSITE.

To be considered for award, if the contractor (awardee) is required to implement NIST SP 800-171, the contractor (awardee) shall have a current assessment as detailed in DFARS 252.204-7019 (I.E., not more than 3 years old unless a lesser time is specified in the solicitation)

Items deemed to be Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) are exempt from NIST SP 800-171 requirement.  Must identify and provide information to contracting officer on bid during solicitation period
