The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP), Pacific Region, is seeking conversion services for four government-provided vans into Crisis Negotiation Team mobile command vehicles. - Government buyer: Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP), Procurement and Contracting, Pacific Region. - Vehicle OEM: Ford — four Ford Transit 250 AWD high-roof vans with sliding doors, supplied by the RCMP; no vehicle purchase is requested. - Requested fit-up: Convert all four vans into mobile command vehicles, with workspace for at least four people, insulation and interior finishes, non-slip flooring and E-track, tables, drawers and storage, and interior lighting. - Install a 12V sealed AGM auxiliary battery system, distribution panel, battery guard, shore power, outlets, heater, and a minimum 3,000 W inverter/charger. - Provide a Starlink mounting bracket and cabling, a Viper DS4+ remote-start and security system or approved equivalent, two exterior scene lights, and a curb-side retractable awning. - Include compartment separation, two exterior breakout connection ports, CAD drawings, wiring diagrams, electrical certification, manuals, and operating instructions. - Delivery and service requirements: Installation is at the contractor’s facility. The RCMP coordinates transportation of its vehicles; completed fit-ups are due within 90 days of contract award. - Notable requirements: Provide at least three comparable completed project references and comply with the specified technical fit-up requirements. Environmentally preferable packaging is mandatory. Warranty coverage includes 10 years for upfit manufacturing, materials, and workmanship; five years for installed AC/DC wiring; and two years for installed components, equipment, and fabricator paint.

Description

The RCMP is seeking fit-up services for four RCMP-supplied Ford Transit 250 AWD High Roof vehicles with sliding doors. The vehicles are located in Chilliwack, British Columbia, and the RCMP will arrange transportation to and from the contractor’s facility.
