The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a thyroid uptake system for the Iowa City VA Health Care System’s Nuclear Medicine Department. - Buyer: Department of Veterans Affairs; Iowa City VA Health Care System; Network Contracting Office 23. - Equipment: One Captus 4000e or equal thyroid uptake system with a 1-inch well, plus one CAP DICOM interface, one neck phantom, and one rod source holder. The named Captus system is manufactured by Capintec, Inc. - System capabilities include nuclear medicine measurement and assay functions, calibration, bioassay and wipe-test modules, reporting, hospital-system integration, and an adjustable clinical workstation. - Services: Delivery, installation, calibration and functionality verification, staff training, and one year of premium technical support, including software/firmware updates, remote troubleshooting, and repair and replacement-parts coverage. - Delivery is required within 30 days after award; the contractor must begin coordination within five business days of award. Proper operation must be confirmed before acceptance. - The opportunity is a 100% set-aside for service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses; authorized distributor status is required.

This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a separate solicitation will not be issued.
