Norfolk Naval Shipyard is seeking custom hydraulic hose assemblies for shipyard use. - Government buyer: Department of the Navy, Naval Sea Systems Command, Norfolk Naval Shipyard GF; contact: Zakiya Clark. - OEMs and named vendors: DANFOSS AEROQUIP (hose and swivel fittings); SSP (flare plug part number reference). - Products requested: Eight assemblies using 2-inch ID SAE 100R2AT hose, part number GH781-32: - 2 assemblies, 35 feet each. - 2 assemblies, 50 feet each. - 4 assemblies, 100 feet each. - Fittings per assembly: Two 2-inch steel female JIC/SAE 37-degree swivel fittings, Aeroquip P/N 1AA32FJ32-32 (no substitutions), and two 2-inch CRES 37-degree male flare plugs, SSP P/N J32P or equal. - Notable requirements: Proof test each assembly to 3,200 PSI with a -25 PSI tolerance for 1–5 minutes per S6430-AE-TED-010. Permanently tag both ends with proof pressure, test date, and testing activity. Provide certificates of compliance; hardware must be mercury-free.
