Wayne-Finger Lakes BOCES is seeking suppliers for welding and metal-trades materials and equipment for its Career and Technical Education and other authorized programs. - Buyer: Wayne-Finger Lakes Board of Cooperative Educational Services (BOCES), serving Ontario, Seneca, Wayne, and Yates Counties; Business Office / Purchasing. - Named OEMs and product brands: Lincoln Electric, Hobart, Miller/Weldcraft, American Torch Tip, Lenox, Tillman, Condor, Empire, and Welsdale. - Seven product groups: welding consumables; welding and cutting equipment and accessories; replacement and repair parts; abrasives and surface-preparation products; metals and raw materials; PPE and safety products; and shop tools and supplies. - Market-basket examples: welding wire, electrodes, filler rod, TIG/MIG equipment and parts, grinding and cutting discs, metal sheets/tubing/angle, welding PPE, fire protection, and hand tools. The requested items, part numbers, and evaluation quantities are listed below; quantities are for evaluation only and are not guaranteed purchases. - Notable requirements: Vendors must quote a maximum markup for each group they bid on, provide supporting actual-cost documentation, and price at least 90% of the market-basket items in each group bid. Prices must be net delivered; delivery includes unloading and placement in the designated building, and delivery freight cannot be charged separately. Installation, commissioning, trade-in removal, and public-work activities are not required for the consumables basket evaluation. - Contract term: Begins upon award, with an initial term through the stated term end and up to four additional 12-month extensions by mutual written agreement. Purchases are made as needed, with no guaranteed quantities.

Description

Wayne-Finger Lakes BOCES seeks qualified vendors to supply welding and metal trades products throughout the contract term. The scope includes welding consumables, welding and cutting equipment and accessories, replacement and repair parts, abrasives and surface preparation products, metals and raw materials, PPE and safety products, shop tools and supplies, and related products. Bidders may submit pricing for individual product groups and must provide supporting documentation for their stated actual costs. The bid response deadline is November 19, 2026, at 3:00 PM ET.
