Description
The Federal Communications Commission’s Space Bureau updates the initial set of geostationary (GSO) satellite network reference links adopted in its Modernizing Spectrum Sharing for Satellite Broadband Report and Order. The update adds new links, corrects parameters for existing links, and removes outdated, redundant, superseded, or out-of-scope links. It also applies a 9.5 dB upper bound for certain non-ACM user terminal link parameters and streamlines the dataset. The update is intended to better reflect typical and widespread GSO operations in the United States and promote efficient spectrum sharing.
