Miami-Dade County is hosting an in-person outreach event to help small businesses learn about county opportunities and procurement resources. - Who it is for: Small businesses, including firms pursuing Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) and Small Business Enterprise (SBE) opportunities. - What to expect: County representatives from Aviation, Strategic Procurement, Transit and Public Works, and other local agencies will share information about upcoming projects, procurement opportunities, certifications, bonding, financial assistance, and business resources. - Training: Miami-Dade Aviation Department (MDAD) Procurement will provide live training on the County’s INFORMS procurement system and related websites, including how to find opportunities and access solicitation documents. - Planning information: The event will include a capital-project forecast and information about future requests for proposals, followed by a question-and-answer session. - Attendance: RSVP is required. No goods or services are being solicited, and no OEMs or vendors are identified.

Description

This in-person community outreach meeting is intended to inform small businesses about upcoming projects within the Miami-Dade Aviation Department and other County departments that use DBE and SBE firms. Panelists will include representatives from County departments and other local agencies and resources. MDAD Procurement will provide live INFORMS training on finding business opportunities and accessing solicitation documents, followed by time for questions and answers. RSVP is required; the meeting is scheduled for November 6, 2026, at the 5A Building in Miami, Florida.
