Provide pickup receipts and an audit trail, meet agreed service schedules, make same-day bank deliveries when specified, and take financial responsibility for loss or damage. Safes must support remote access, deposit processing, and reporting. - Named OEM: FireKing (also identified as Fireking NKL) — five Autobank V2C-JBS self-counting safes and five XLV-FPR biometric fingerprint readers for City parking garages. The safe configuration includes a manual coin-deposit slot upgrade, impact or serial printer, and control unit. - Other named organizations: Garda World is identified as the existing armored-transport contractor; JPMorgan Chase Bank is identified as the City’s bank. Neither is identified as the selected contractor for this solicitation. - Additional services: Install and maintain the five parking-garage safes, including validator upgrades as U.S. currency changes. The City wants to transition as many locations as possible from traditional cash-in-transit service to smart-safe service. - Estimated value and term: Approximately $800,000 over an anticipated 3-to-5-year contract term. The City anticipates one contract but may make additional awards as needed.
