Lewis County is seeking qualifications from consulting firms to provide professional structural engineering services for County projects during a one-year term from March 2027 to March 2028, with an option to extend one additional year by mutual agreement. Services may include bridge inspections and load ratings, structural assessments, and structural design and plan preparation for emergency repairs to transportation structures, retaining walls, and highway bridges. Work will be authorized through written task orders and must comply with WSDOT, AASHTO, and Lewis County requirements; applicable federal provisions apply to federally funded projects. The anticipated maximum contract value is $300,000, which Lewis County Public Works may increase at its sole option.
