Fermi Forward Discovery Group is seeking 42 enclosed electronics cabinets for Fermilab’s DUNE data-acquisition systems. - Buyer: Fermi Forward Discovery Group, LLC (FFDG), under the U.S. Department of Energy’s LBNF/DUNE-US project; the work supports the Far Detector & Cryogenics subproject at Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory (Fermilab). - Products: 40 cabinets for the VD/HD and Ross Dry DAQ activities, plus 2 cabinets for the CUC DAQ activity. The specified reference is Rack Solutions RS148 148-8450 or similar. - Cabinet requirements: black, 48U, 24-inch-wide by 48-inch-deep, with 2–42 inches of usable mounting depth; steel construction, locking doors and panels, ventilation, cable-management bars, casters and levelers, and a 3,000-pound static and dynamic load rating. The specification states a five-year minimum limited warranty, while supplier clarification says a one-year manufacturer’s warranty is acceptable. - Shipping and support: Deliver both rack groups to the South Dakota Warehouse. Shipments must be coordinated with the FDC Logistics Team and comply with warehouse equipment, packaging, securement, and notification requirements. Bills of lading and packing lists must include PID D08500100001-00001-US001. Customer support and delivery-schedule updates are also required. - Clarifications: Mechanical drawings are requested for proposed side-panel or cable-management alternatives.
