The FBI’s Criminal Justice Information Services Division is seeking round-the-clock telephone interpretation, with pricing requested across a broad range of languages. - Government buyer: Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), U.S. Department of Justice; Criminal Justice Information Services Division (CJIS), Finance and Facilities Division, Procurement Section. The RFQ also identifies the Professional Services Acquisition Unit. - OEMs and vendors: No manufacturers, OEMs, or service vendors are named in the opportunity. - Requested service: On-demand, over-the-phone interpretation in any requested language, available 24/7/365, including holidays. Interpreters must respond in less than three minutes and meet professional qualification standards. - Requirements include a quality assurance plan, current engagement instructions, and monthly itemized call-level records for invoicing. The pricing template gives Amharic as an example at $0.81 per minute; rates for other languages are not shown. - The pricing template covers languages including Arabic, French, Mandarin, Spanish, Somali, and Vietnamese, as well as additional language categories. No call volumes or service quantities are specified. - Performance is described as a 12-month base period, four one-year options, and an additional six-month option; other solicitation text contains conflicting period and pricing descriptions. - One attachment also lists time-and-materials support for NTOS, NICS, BSS, ITMS, and LEEDS. This appears inconsistent with the telephone interpretation scope, and quantities and pricing are not provided.
