Description
The University of Minnesota is seeking design-build lump-sum services for targeted window remediation, glass replacement, gasket and sealant repairs, and exterior building-envelope stabilization at Nils Hasselmo Hall. Work is limited to failing windows on the building’s west elevation, including 12 ground-level punched-window openings and 12 Level 7 curtainwall vision-glass openings. The selected contractor will be responsible for design, engineering, permitting, procurement, construction, testing coordination, and warranty coverage. The building is an active research, classroom, and administrative facility, so work must be coordinated to minimize disruption.
