Description
This funding opportunity invites applications to participate in the Diseases of Gastrointestinal Interoception Consortium (DGIC). Its objectives include identifying mechanisms linking altered gastrointestinal interoception to dysmotility and symptoms, finding disease or response biomarkers, and using advanced technologies to identify potential therapeutic targets. The selected Scientific Data Research Center will support consortium research, including coordination of biospecimens and data, committee operations, and collaboration across DGIC components. NIDDK expects to fund one cooperative agreement, with a maximum application budget of $950,000 in direct costs.
