Engineering and planning services for Fairhope Airport Industrial Park

The City of Fairhope is seeking a qualified consultant team to plan and engineer an approximately 71-acre airport industrial park in Alabama. - Government buyer: City of Fairhope; Public Works, Engineering, Community and Economic Development, Utilities, and Legislative and/or Executive Departments. - Requested services: Professional engineering, planning, surveying, and permitting for the Airport Industrial Park in the Airport/Aviation District near H.L. Sonny Callahan Airport. - Work includes existing-conditions assessment; boundary, topographic, utility, and ALTA surveys; master planning; roadway and utility design; geotechnical coordination; stormwater, drainage, grading, and erosion control; environmental studies and permitting; construction documents; bidding assistance; and construction administration and closeout. - Infrastructure planning covers water, wastewater, reclaimed water, natural gas, electrical, fiber, and communications. Deliverables include plans and reports, construction specifications, cost estimates, permitting documents, and record drawings. - Named organizations: HUD supports the project through Community Project Funding. The work also requires coordination with the FAA, ALDOT Aeronautics, and applicable agencies. No consulting vendors or OEMs are named. - Notable requirements: The scope includes airport compatibility coordination and environmental and agency permitting. Description

The City of Fairhope is seeking qualified firms to provide professional engineering, planning, surveying, and permitting services for development of an airport industrial park. The project site is on the west side of H.L. “Sonny” Callahan Airport, at the east terminus of Falcon Boulevard, accessed from U.S. Highway 98 in Fairhope, Alabama. Proposals are due November 19, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. Sealed submissions must be delivered to the City of Fairhope and include one original paper copy, five identical paper copies, and one identical electronic copy on a thumb drive.
