Description

The State of Alaska Department of Transportation & Public Facilities is requesting public comment and information on proposed preventative maintenance at select Northern Region locations on the National Highway System Interstate Highway System. Proposed work includes roadway maintenance and rehabilitation, pavement striping and markings, shoulder and ditch repairs, culvert and storm drain cleaning, signage repairs or replacement, and lighting repairs or refurbishment. Work is anticipated to begin in 2027. Written comments are due November 16, 2026.
