Description
McMaster University and the Canadian Centre for Electron Microscopy require one local electrode atom probe tomography system with laser and voltage pulsing modes, automated specimen handling, and compatibility with existing cryogenic/vacuum transfer equipment. The requirement also includes installation, training, warranty and post-warranty service, and trade-in of the existing CAMECA LEAP 5000 XS instrument. The system must use an energy-compensated (reflectron) flight path and deep ultraviolet laser pulsing to provide high mass resolution and specimen yield across a wide range of materials. This Advance Contract Award Notice identifies CAMECA Instruments, Inc. as the pre-selected supplier; other suppliers may submit a Statement of Capabilities by the closing date, and a competitive procurement may follow if a submission meets the requirements.
