NSWC Crane is seeking maintenance and container coating restoration for three identified serial numbers. - Government buyer: Department of the Navy, Naval Sea Systems Command, Naval Surface Warfare Center Crane (NSWC Crane), Indiana. - OEMs and named companies: Carboline is named as the maker of the existing thermal insulation coating to be removed. No vendor is identified for the requested coating products or services. - Requested work: One firm-fixed-price lot (CLIN 0001) for Connex coating maintenance covering serial numbers X, Y, and Z, including materials, labor, and handling. - Restore and coat container walls and roof; remove existing Carboline thermal insulation coating with containment and compliant disposal; prepare surfaces; replace decals and lettering; inspect and arrange return shipping. - Specified coating products: Disbonder 8512, Rust Grip, Super-Therm Thermal Roof Shield, and Enamo-Grip in Desert Tan (FED-STD-595). - Notable requirements: Follow the attached salient characteristics; coordinate secure-facility delivery and return; conduct final quality inspection in accordance with ISO 9001:2015. - Performance: Due within five weeks of award; no option periods stated.

This solicitation is being issued pursuant to the procedures at FAR Part 13 as a written .  Synopsis exception FAR 5.202(a)(13) applies and Solicitation Number N00164-27-Q-0013 is hereby issued as an attachment hereto. 

All changes to the requirement that occur prior to the closing date will be posted to Contract Opportunities on https://sam.gov/.  It is the responsibility of interested vendors to monitor https://sam.gov/ for any amendments, which may be issued to this solicitation. 

For changes made after the closing date, only those offerors that provide a quote will be provided any changes/amendments and considered for future discussions and/or award.
