Description

Teleflex Balloon Pumps are advanced medical devices essential to the daily operations of our Cath Lab. At this time, our in-house Biomedical Engineering Support Specialists (BESS) do not have thespecialized training or necessary tools to perform repairs and preventive maintenance in alignment with the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) standards. Given the critical nature of thesedevices, they require adhering to OEM specifications for preventive maintenance as is mandated by The Joint Commission standard EC 02.04.03.   Currently, when repairs or maintenance are needed, the equipment is serviced through one time purchase card transactions. This process results in significant costs and increased downtime, impactingboth efficiency and patient care. Establishing this contract would provide onsite service and support, ultimately reducing both expenses and equipment downtime.
