Howard Community College is seeking a contractor to repair and maintain its East Expansion Garage in Columbia, Maryland. - Buyer: Howard Community College Board of Trustees, Procurement Office; Facilities Operations Manager is identified for project coordination. - Scope and estimated quantities: 193 SF of full-depth concrete topping repairs; 10 SF of precast double-tee repairs; 35 shear-connector repairs; 4 carbon-fiber biscuit replacements; and approximately 600 LF of crack routing and sealing. - Sealant work: Approximately 2,352 LF of construction joints, 3,812 LF of double-tee joints, and 2,000 LF of perimeter cove joints; quantities are estimates to be verified in the field. - Named OEMs and material suppliers: V2 Composites (V2 CFRP T Biscuit System), BASF (MasterEmaco and MasterSeal products), Sika, USCP, Tremco, and LymTal. Work includes concrete topping and precast double-tee flange repairs, shear connector restoration and carbon-fiber biscuit replacements where directed, crack and joint sealing, and perimeter cove joint sealant replacement.
