NASA seeks capability statements for repair of a Keysight PNA-X network analyzer

NASA Goddard needs repair of a Keysight/Agilent PNA-X network analyzer used in a microwave laboratory. - Requirement - Diagnose and perform standard repair on one N5242A/SG4920152 PNA-X network analyzer, rated from 10 MHz to 26.5 GHz. - The analyzer’s computer will not start when connected to power and the start button is pressed. - Work is to be performed at the vendor’s facilities. - Procurement approach - NASA intends to pursue a sole-source award to Keysight Technologies, Inc., but is requesting capability statements to assess whether the requirement should be competed. - Submit a capability statement referencing the notice ID; quotes and oral responses are not requested or accepted. - Schedule - Repair is expected within 60 days after the vendor receives the analyzer.

Description

 SPECIAL NOTICE:

VENDORS MUST REFERENCE THE NOTICE ID WHEN SUBMITTING A CAPABILITY STATEMENT.

NASA/NSSC has a requirement for Repair to network analyzer for microwave testbed. 

NASA/NSSC intends to issue a sole source contract to KEYSIGHT TECHNOLOGIES, INC. 1400, Fountaingrove Parkway  Santa Rosa, California 95403-1738, United States  under the authority of FAR 12.102(a). It has been determined that KEYSIGHT TECHNOLOGIES, INC.  is the sole provider of Repair to network analyzer for microwave testbed.

NASA/NSSC will be the procuring center for this effort. Performance will be located at NASA/ Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC).

The Government intends to acquire Commercial items or services using the provisions, clauses and procedures prescribed in FAR Part 12 for Commercial

The NAICS Code for this procurement is 811210.

Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact not later than 12:00 p.m. Central Standard Time on 11/5/2026. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government.

Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.

NOTE:  Quotes received in response to this notice will NOT be considered and will not be evaluated by NASA’s Technical End User Team. We are currently only requesting Capability Statements.
