The Department of the Air Force is seeking a contractor to replace the high-pressure nitrogen piping serving a plasma spray booth at Tinker Air Force Base. - Government buyer: Department of the Air Force; Air Force Sustainment Center (AFSC), including the Oklahoma City Air Logistics Complex (OC-ALC), at Tinker Air Force Base. Offices referenced include AFSC/PZIMB, 76MXSG/MXDEJ, OC-ALC/EN, and OBCA. - Scope: Replace and install the nitrogen piping system in Building 3001, from the generator and storage racks through pressure-reduction equipment to the plasma spray booth. The system is approximately 300 feet long and connects to a 16-tank storage rack. - Materials and installation: Use annealed, seamless 316/316L stainless-steel tubing conforming to ASTM A269, with welded connections, adapters, supports, valves, and required pressure-protection components. Welding in the specialty gas yard is prohibited; certified welders and applicable safety, environmental, and quality controls are required. - Named OEMs and products: Swagelok bleed valve and tube connector; WIKA pressure gauge; Parker inline manual valve; Tescom dual high-pressure manifold regulator; and Nuvair twist bleed valves and custom flexible hoses. See product line items for the listed specifications and part numbers. - Testing and cleanliness: Hydrostatic test the piping to 7,500 psi and leak-check at 5,500 psi. Provide a nitrogen flow capacity of 2,500 SLPM. Finished piping must be clean and 99.9% free of water or moisture, and free of particulates and oils. Hydrostatic testing applies to piping and valves, not the generator, tanks, regulator, pressure-relief system, or filter. - Existing equipment and interfaces: Include the spray-booth inline filter, which may be reused; exclude existing spray-booth valves and regulators. Retain and reinstall existing equipment where specified, and coordinate system tie-ins and testing with the government. - Other notable work: Contractor provides labor, materials, equipment, lift, and test-gas source; labels piping per ANSI A13.1; and removes water after testing. Drawings 24E173 and ASME B31.3 are referenced. - Contract line item: CLIN 0001 covers one firm-fixed-price nitrogen piping replacement for the plasma spray booth.
