Lac La Biche County is seeking qualified multidisciplinary consulting teams to prepare a statutory Area Structure Plan for the Lac La Biche Energy Zone. The work includes associated planning, engineering, environmental, regulatory, engagement, and implementation activities to position the area for consideration by the Government of Alberta as a Designated Industrial Zone. The plan is intended to support large-scale energy, petrochemical, resource processing, underground storage, transportation, utilities, and related industrial development. Proposals are due by email on November 20, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. MST.
