Gravel-road rehabilitation across three segments totaling 10 miles

The Municipal District of Provost No. 52 is seeking a contractor to rehabilitate three gravel-road segments for heavy industrial traffic. - Government buyer: Municipal District of Provost No. 52. - Scope: Rehabilitate 10 miles total across three segments: RR 85 from TWP 412 to TWP 415 (3 miles); TWP 393 from RR 41 to RR 44 (3 miles); and TWP 384 from RR 14 to RR 10 (4 miles). - Work requirements: Rebuild road base as needed; widen applicable road surfaces to a 9-metre top; perform undercutting, backslope and ditch work; and make related improvements to create a stable driving surface for heavy industrial traffic. - Equipment requirement: Packing equipment must include a sheepfoot and/or padfoot packer and wobbly packers, or approved equivalents. - Vendors and OEMs: No vendors, manufacturers, brands, or OEMs are named in the opportunity. - Other proposal requirements: Proponents must demonstrate capacity and provide relevant equipment and staffing information, at least two references, and an estimate with mobilization costs itemized separately.

Description

The Municipal District of Provost No. 52 seeks a qualified proponent to rehabilitate 10 miles of gravel roads during the 2027 construction season. Work includes rebuilding road base as needed, widening road surfaces to 9 metres where applicable, and undercutting, backslope, ditch, and other work needed to create stable roads capable of supporting heavy industrial traffic. Proposals must include company and equipment information, evidence of capacity to meet the timelines, at least two references, and a cost estimate with mobilization costs itemized separately. A site inspection of all project areas with M.D. staff is mandatory before submitting a proposal.
