Description

The project is to construct approximately 250,000 square feet of new 16-inch concrete commercial service apron pavement at McAllen International Airport to support future terminal expansion, additional aircraft gates, aircraft movements, and remote aircraft parking. Work includes removals, excavation and grading, FAA P-501 concrete apron and bituminous vehicle service road pavement, storm and sanitary sewer improvements, airfield lighting and signage, electrical circuitry, fencing, pavement markings, jet blast deflector relocation, erosion and sediment control, turf establishment, and site restoration. Electronic bids must be submitted through the City of McAllen bidding portal by December 17, 2026, at 3:00 PM CST; hard-copy and late bids will not be accepted. Bidders must submit original bid security of at least 5% of the total bid before the deadline. Any resulting contract is subject to the listed FAA provisions.
